The 2013 schedule sees many tracks and formats that are traditionally part of the CCWS canon: Portland International, Shannonville and Auto Club. However, a number of items stand out:
- The biggest addition is almost certainly Watkins Glen in April. The historic track will also host a first in crapcan racing: a three-day event with five hours of racing on Friday followed by seven-and-a-half hours each on Saturday and Sunday.
- Speaking of new formats, the series will stretch its annual 24-hour race in Spokane to 36 hours, making it the longest endurance race in the world. According to Condren, the Guinness Book of World Records will on hand to verify this record.
- ChumpCar returns to VIR with an additional race this year (making three total), running each of the track's configurations in three different formats: 10 Hours (South Course), 24 Hours (Grand Course) and Double 7 (North Course).
- New country-club track Atlanta Motorsports Park will allow Chump's crapcans to soil its new, pristine surface in November.
-In the Midwest, the series returns to Gingerman Raceway for the first time since 2010. However, the Longest Day race at Nelson Ledges has been moved from October to July and shortened to 12 hours.
- The historic St. Eustache Circuit in Quebec is an interesting add with its one-mile road course. The autodrome's 0.40-mile oval track is a staple of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. Speaking of Canadian Tires, ChumpCar will also travel north of the border to hold a race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (formerly known as Mosport).
- After a successful trip to Ensenada in 2012, Chump will also head south of the border in 2013 to Ensenada.
- Perhaps most intriguing is the TBA date in Texas. With no date on the schedule for Eagles Canyon or MSR-Houston, it's possible that either of those will be the track in question. It's a long shot, but there's also some new track in the state that's supposed to a big deal. It does make one wonder what the FIA would think of crapcan racing if they ever lowered the nose enough to look down on it.
