This upcoming weekend is rare in that there are no crapcan races. So spend the weekend wrenching on your money-to-noise machine, but remember to take a break Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day.
Pro Tip: Wash your hands before you take your mother/wife/baby mama/furbaby mama/sugar mama/Mama Cass out for breakfast/brunch/lunch/lunner/dinner.

It appears that we overlooked a new series in the Pacific Northwest; Rat Race will
run its first event of the season, an 11-1/2 hour race this Saturday at Oregon Raceway Park.
Tech for the race starts at 7:00 a.m. with the green flag at 9:00 a.m. and
the checkered flag at sunset.
Check the site for rules and a more detailed event schedule. The series will also host a Mother's Day brunch at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
